Black Stars Defender Nicholas Opoku says Ghana can win the AFCON but claims they need the support of Ghanaians.
Ghana have qualified for the AFCON in Egypt with a game in hand against Kenya in Accra.
The Udinese defender has been called-up to the national team ahead of the Kenyan Clash.
The Black Stars have failed to win the AFCON since 1982, and hopes to clinch the coveted trophy this July.
Nicholas Opoku,21, believes that Ghana can clinch the ultimate trophy in Egypt and reveals his happiness for his call-up to the national team.
“We are United in camp and I haven’t seen any division in camp. We can win the cup (AFCON) but, it depends on how Ghanaians support us” ,he told Asempa FM.
“I was very happy for the call up when I saw it. I will continue with my impressive performance for the Black Stars. I feel very proud for playing for the Black Stars.” He admitted.
