Isaac Honny is Ghanaian player who plies his trade for Thailand side Police Tero Fc in the Thai league two as a defender and the same time as a striker.
The player was born in Ghana on June 6,1993 hoping to turn 26 years in the coming three months this year.
Isaac was a novice playing in defense during his colts days in Ghana before he left to seek greener pastures in 2012 in Thailand .
He signed his first professional contract at the age of 19 year with BEC Tero Sasana in Thailand before he was loaned to League rival Samut Songkhram F.C in the 2013 season making six appearances.
The young Ghanaian was loaned to Thai Premier League side Air Force Central FC based in Pathum for the 2014 /15 season where he tasted the level of Thailand’s topflight league. He played 34 games with 4 goals to his credit.
His excellent performance got him a national call up to Ghana’s U-23 team in their qualify games to the All African Games in 2015.The 22-year old played a key role in the qualification of the team playing in the two-legged tie with Mozambique and Congo Brazzaville in the Olympic Games qualifiers.
Isaac Honny being one of the best players in the Thai topflight league was reverted to his parent club after the loan deal with Pathum based Air Force Central FC.
Before the start of the 2016/17 season in Thailand ,he signed a two year deal with Angthong FC in Thai league two after many years with BEC Tero Sasana .His peaked form made him the favorite to start in the first eleven as a new signing .He played 45 matches with 30 goals as a defender at this time in Angthong FC.
Finally he has reunited with BEC Tero Sasana whose name has been changed to Police Tero Fc in Thai league two. Bangkok based side Police Tero Coach Rangsan Viwatchaichok is using Isaac in two positions depending on a game’s approach which the player plays to the instructions of his boss.
After five games played in the ongoing Thai league two, Coach Rangsan have tried the Ghanaian born in all the two positions playing as defender and sometimes as a striker.
Sometimes the coach uses him in the two positions in a game with their last game which police Tero Fc lost by a lone goal to Udon Thani.
He has featured in three games as a defender and two games as a striker with one assist and one goal.
