MSV Duisburg Club has praised Ghanaian player Joseph Baffoe who has introduced himself in recent days of Meiderich.
The defender has been exceptional since his days with Eintracht Braunschweig making a total of 53 competitive games.The former IFK Värnamo and Valerenga Oslo star has received praises from the hierarchy of MSV Duisburg club.
“Joseph has already proven his qualities in the past. After his injury, he now has the opportunity to return to his old strength, “says sports director Ivo Grlic on the transfer. “After the injury of Basti Neumann we had to react to this position.”
“He left a good first impression on the training sessions, so we all agree that he is a very good alternative after Basti Neumann’s bitter injury. Joseph gets the chance to show his potential after injury here again, “says head coach Torsten Lieberknecht.
Baffoe also expressed delight ahead of his time with Zebra club.”I felt very comfortable here right in the first days. The team has a lot of potential and I think the MSV and I are a great match, “Baffoe said, looking forward to his time in Zebra.He will wear the number 5 in the Zebras.
The 26-year-old Swedish defender born in Accra, Ghana will receive a contract until the end of the season plus option.
