Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah believes he has attained the highest point as far as coaching is concerned
The 58-year-old gaffer, who managed the national team at 2018 FIFA World cup believes he is at the peak of his coaching career.
“I have reached the highest point in coaching now”, the former Kotoko gaffer told Kessben FM.
“If you coach to the World Cup level, that is the pinnacle. The rest are all bonuses.”
Kwesi Appiah’s Black Stars in Brazil 2014 World Cup, lost their opening game against the USA by 2-1 but produced a big game performance with a thrilling 2-2 draw against eventual champions Germany before losing to Portugal 2-1 to exit the tournament with just a point.
The Ghana legend says coaching at the World Cup represents the pinnacle of every coach.
He became the first local coach in the history of Ghana football to lead the Black Stars at the FIFA World Cup.
