Danish Superliga club SønderjyskE has officially signed Danish- born Ghanaian winger Danny Amankwaa from Heart of Midlothian,Sportsnewsgh.com can report.
The 24-year-old Dane joined Hearts a year ago on an 18-month contract when Copenhagen terminated his contract after a spell out from knee surgery.
He played 16 times for the Edinburgh side, mainly from the bench.
The last of his four appearances this term came in October and Hearts say he left in search of regular game time.
Danny Amankwaa after signing expressed his excitement in an interview with the club site;”SønderjyskE was the club that wanted me the most, and I had some good conversations with Glen Riddersholm, and I think it will be a good cooperation”.
“My form is really good, although I haven’t played so much, but I have played training matches and feel sharp and have only had a week break”.
Danny Amankwaa signed a one-year agreement with SønderjyskE.
