Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana Premier League outfit Aduana Stars, Albert Yaya Commey has quizzed the modal quality of the competition in the pipe line of Normalization Committee set to kick off.
Middle of December 2018, the GFA Normalization Committee released a press statement confirming a proposed competition for the topflight teams and the second tier side, scheduled to commence on January 29, 2019.However, their view of having such a competition has aroused it modality.
Speaking to the press was former Hearts of Oak CEO, Albert Yaya Commey questioning the committee to enlighten the stakeholders on it’s modality.”We have to know the modalities of the competition in the first place”.
“What is the format of the competition?What is the cash involved?. These are what we should know before the competition starts and so we will wait for answers from them (normalization committee).” he added.
The four member committee led by Dr.Kofi Amoah has been mandated to supervise an election for new executives of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and bring the game of football to normalcy after Ace Journalist Ana’s Aremeyaw Ana’s number 12 exposé.
The committee has a space of 6-months to rest their duty.Which will elapse on March 30 2019.
