Ghana Striker Alex Asamoah has indicated that his former club Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC owes him portion of his salary.
The former ES Setif prolific goal poacher Alex Asamoah was a member of the porcupine warriors team in 2008.He joined with a two year contract from Ashanti Gold SC.However, the Techiman Eleven Wonders talisman claims the porcupine warriors still owe him a sum of GH¢ 8,000 as part of his salary during his stint with the club.
“I joined Kotoko in March 2008 with 2-years contract with Kotoko in a bid of 100 million old CEDI’s but they still owe me GH¢ 8,000”.
He added that, in his readiness to join ES Setif from Kotoko SC he convinced the Algerian side of still having contract with the porcupines which was never the truth.Supervising an amount of 30, 000 euros into the account of Kotoko SC.
“When I got the chance to go to Algeria, I told the club I still have contract with Kotoko which was not true” So Kotoko SC were paid 30,000 euros from my contract,” he told Ashh Super Sports.
Alex Asamoah has made his name with Berekum Arsenal, Aduana Stars, Kotoko SC, Ashanti Gold SC, ES Setif and currently with Techiman Eleven Wonders.
