Mr.George Amoako, CEO of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club is calling upon the fans base of the club ahead of their campaign in Africa inter-club competition.
The porcupine warriors will be facing a Cameroon side in the preliminary phase come Wednesday 28, 2018.However, seeks the club fans to rally behind them in the entire period, since the competition is expensive and can not progress without them.Mr.Amoako George said this at the Sports Hotel Forecourt in Kumasi.
“I know if you continue to support us nothing can stop us [Kotoko SC] going forward because God is our fortress”Everything about the competition (CAF) is expensive so I will seek help from you supporters to go extra mile”.
“Last year Kotoko played a one-round confederations cup with CARRA and the money spent was 650,000 cedis”So now that we have said we’ll go, let’s work hard on the rates because it’s not easy”, he said.
Amoako continued that, provided the fans are in need of the ultimate there will be increasement in gate proceeds.Rather individuals should come on board to assist.
“If we want to hold the trophy, then the rate could be 60 cedis so let’s help ourselves.We are heading to the cup campaign and if any one wants to help, we are ready.”
