2017/18 Ghana Premier League season wasn’t complete due to the Ana’s expose. The first round of matches played across country’s various venues had two outstanding games involving Aduana Stars.
238 matches were played out the total 240 games in the first round among the sixteen teams with fifteen matches each.

Former League champions Wa All Stars registered thirty players for the season including old and new players. Two of their players had the same number of appearances in the league; defender Moses Nyarko and midfielder Iddrisu Nafiu tied with 15 games for the Upper West side. Both players completed the entire 90 minutes in all the games played.
Accra Hearts of Oak presented twenty- nine players for the new season, which consisted of promoted youth team players, new signings and old names in the team.
The players that made our list were newly signed players prior to the start of the season. Hearts had one outstanding game against Aduana Stars but defender Benjamin Agyare managed to start all the 14 games lasting the entire 90 minutes of those games.
Striker Joseph Esso cane second with 13 appearances but was substituted on two occasions.
Karela United players that made up to task were Ismail Ganiu and Ampem Da Costa. Ismail Ganiu had 100% record for the newly promoted team playing the entire 90 minutes in all the 15 league games while his pair Ampem Da Costa had 13 games lasting 90 minutes on the field in those fixtures.
Inter Allies midfielder Hashmin Musah was on top of all the players in the “Eleven is One” team playing in 13 league games enjoying 90 minutes action in those games. Issahaku Zakari had 13 league games as a defender but he was substituted in one game that ended the dream of entire 90 minutes actions in all the 13 matches.
Elmina Sharks had two players with the same appearances but Daniel Oppong made the first spot with 15 league games but he couldn’t complete the entire 90 minutes in the matches as he was substituted in one game. Ibrahim Suraj had the 15 league caps but was substituted four times along the way.
AshGold midfielder James Akaminko sealed the show with 100% mark in all the 15 League appearances for his new team and also saw entire 90 minutes play in the matches. Defender Ibrahim Samed came close to Akaminko with 14 games start with one substitution after picking up an injury. Samed made 90 minutes action in 13 games.
Kotoko’s goalkeeper Felix Annan had excellent performance for himself with entire 90 minutes in 15 appearance in the league.
Emmanuel Gyamfi came close to Annan with 14 caps but was substituted out four in the league matches.
Liberty Professionals defender Simon Zibo made 13 caps and saw 12 games in full 90 minutes actions and came out once in the caps.
Brite Andoh also made 13 caps but was substituted 9 times in games .
Bechem United Sadick Hadji top the park with all the 15 games appearance but got out the field once in the league. Daniel Egyin also had 14 appearance in the league with entire 90 minutes in all the matches.
Berekum Chelsea midfielder Mohammed Braimah had all the 15 league games appearance but was substituted twice in games.
Defender Osei Bonsu made 14 caps but was substituted once in the league matches.
Eleven Wonders goalkeeper John Moosie made 15 appearance but was substituted twice in all the league games. Abu Dauda made the full 15 caps with entire 90 minutes action in the league.
Ebusua Dwarfs Dennis Korsah had 14 league games starts and substituted one in game that denied all the entire 90 minutes actions. Abu Alebke had 14 appearance but started 13 games and was substituted two times in the league.
WAFA midfielder Umar Bashiru had 15 appearance with the entire duration on the field in all the league games .
Mohammed Alhsassan also made 15 caps in all the league games with entire 90 minutes action.
Dreams FC Striker Eric Gawu made 15 caps with two substitution in the league games .
Isaac Amoako made 14 caps in the entire games in the league.
Medeama SC Ibrahim Yaro made the full 15 caps in the entire 90 minutes action in the league games.
Ali Ouattara had 15 league games with the entire 90 minutes.
Aduana Stars defender Paul Aidoo made 12 caps and substituted once in the league games.
Elvis Opoku made 12 caps with 11 game starts and was substituted once in all the games he played in the league.
