Former Black Maidens captain Sandra Owusu Ansah sends tough message to the Junior Female team of Ghana, the Black Maidens.
The Maidens are competing in the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay. The tournament kicks off November 13 to December 1.
Ghana will face host Uruguay, Finland and New Zealand in Group A.But Sandra Owusu urges the team to be focus and implant winning mentality.
“Black Maidens should have winning mentality and should not even think of draw in the tournament”.
“When I was a captain of Maidens I always tell my girls to be focus on the field of play and that was my secret as a captain of Maidens”, the Black Queens Star told Agyenkwa FM.
Sandra Owusu Ansah continued that, the team can fly the flag of Ghana high; “Seriousness on the field of play always pays back with victory and I believe this maidens team can make Ghana proud, I wish them the best of luck”.
Sandra Owusu Ansah is currently nursing her injury she obtained few weeks ago, dropping him from the Queens team for the Total Africa Women’s Cup of Nations Cup.
