
The last day of the Ashanti Regional Inter-schools Soccer competition qualifiers ended today with schools securing their ticket to the final. The last qualifying day witnessed a bit of surprises as some unfancied schools booked qualification ahead of favourites.
The following eight schools have secured qualification to the final 32 barring all boardroom protests and agitations. The eights schools that qualified today are;
Al-Azhariya SHS, Sekyedumase SHS, Nkawie SecTech, Nsutaman Catholic SHS, Kwamang Presby, Opoku Ware School, Ejisuman SHS and Armed Forces SHTS.
The schools that failed to qualify include Tepa SHS, KSTS, Konongo Odumasi SHS, Kumasi Academy etc.

Ejisuman SHS qualified with 9 points.
At Kumasi Girls Centre, Sekyedumase qualified on 8 points ahead of KOSS who also had 7 points.
Presbyterian SHS, Kwamang, qualified at Owass centre ahead of KUMACA.
