Ghanaian young footballer is set to be honoured by top University in England after pursuing with bachelors honour degree in Football Studies.

Patrick Asare told sportsnewsgh.com he had to put initial plans of combing schooling and playing football on hold to enable him adjust to the Malaysia system.

 

The former Dreams Fc striker who joined Zwekapin United FC in the Myanmar National league after been played in both England and Malaysia semi professional league was scouted by an agent.

‘’After the season with them I decided not to renew contract and go and complete my degree with honours in the UK and while in UK after submitting my assessments my current team sent me a contract so I signed in UK before flying to join the team. Adding that I think it’s great to attach education to football career’’.

The 22 years also hold a Diploma in football studies from Malaysian University and hopes to honoured at the ceremony in UK this July at the University of Bedfordshire campus.

Asare joined Yadanarbon in the second round with 3 appearance scoring 5 goals in Myanmar National League behind the league leaders.

University of Bedfordshire was created in August 2006 following approval by the Privy Council
