Medeama SC will play host to the reigning league champions Wa All Stars at the Tarkwa T & A Park.

Medeama are winless in their last 4 games ( 2 draws and 2 defeats), they are still searching for their second 3 points of the season having open the season with a 1 nil win over WAFA.

Given their current talent pool and the experience of some of their players, 10th placed Medeama SC is definitely playing below par, especially given the high hopes they had of contending for the title this year. Their main problem thus far has been their inability to score, scoring 4 goals in five matches and giving up 5 is not a good remedy for winning.

Champions Wa All Stars are bent on rediscovering last season’s form following a bungled and short-lived CAF Appearance, the match will be a gauge of their abilities away from home as they look to build on this midweek’s 3-1 away win over neophytes Bolga All Stars.

Medeama’s defense will be put to test against the impressive duo of David Sandan Abagna and Richard Arthur who both connived to beat Bolga All Stars with Abagna scoring two and Arthur with the other.

Medeama will be hope to capitalize on the absence of Wa All Stars’ talisman Hafiz Adam and Nicholas Mensah, both of them are yet to kick a ball in this season’s premier league.

Interestingly, the pressure will be on Medeama who have won one and drawn one in the last four meets between them.
