The last five schools confirmed their participation in the last round of 32 in the ongoing Ashanti Regional Inter-schools and Colleges Soccer Competitions at the various qualifying centers for Match day-5 which ended the round of qualifying matches.
There were huge upsets in some of the venues with threats of protestations.
The following FIVE Schools grabbed their tickets to be part of the last 32 at the Baba Yara Stadium barring adjudication of protest cases.
- Adu Gyamfi SHS
- T. I. Amass, Fomena
- Michael’s SHS
- Nsutaman SHS
- Konongo Odumasi SHS
However the last day was a day full of agitations and protestations as KTI were bundled out of the competition by Fomena Amass but that will not go without a protest.
Tepa SHS failed to qualify after losing on some controversial technicality due to two penalty victories and a straight win by St. Michael’s. However in a a Hollywood fashion, all three schools are lodging protest against each other.
Adu Gyamfi SHS qualified by winning all matches but faces a protest from Mankranso SHS who are hoping to snatch qualification ticket from the boardroom. The protest infuriated Adu Gyamfi who also lodged a counter protest against the losing side with the hope of teaching them a lesson on football technicalities.

Nsutaman qualified with superior goals for after being at par on points and goals difference with Philips. having scored more goals than Philips.

Adu Gyamfi qualifies with 9 PTS
Mankranso have signaled to officials that they will be lodging a protest against Adu Gyamfi SHS which has also infuriated Adu Gyamfi to respond with a counter protest.

Fomena Qualifies with Six POINTS
Asare Bediako 1:1 Tepa SHS (Tepa wins 4:2 on pen)
St Micheals 1:0 Asare Bediako
Tepa 0:0 St. Mich (Tepa 3:0 St. Micheals)
St. Micheal win 4 pts with a goal whiles Tepa missed out with 4 PTS but no goal for due to the two penalty victories.
The three schools have however lodged counter protests against each other.
Konongo Odumasi also overcame Nkenkansu and Nyinahin Catholic SHS to pick the qualification ticket in the last group faces protest from competing schools. Results will be updates soon.
