Few days after his unveiling, rising midfield sensation Abdul Mugeese Zakaria sat with the club’s Media Department to discuss his switch, expectations and targets for the season.

The lanky midfielder sealed a dream move to Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal which will tie him to the club until at least 2020.

Mugeese, prior to joining Dreams FC in the early hours of Friday played a significant role in Tamale Liberty Babies survival in the GN BANK DOL last season.

Dreams Media: Welcome Mugeese, how does it feel to be a Dreams FC player?

Mugeese: Thank you very much. I’m very happy to be here and I’m really looking forward to getting started already.

Dreams Media: What are your impressions of Kweiman?

Mugeese: It’s a fantastic training ground. Many clubs in the country now lack the kind of pitch at Kweiman.

Dreams Media: Could you explain a little about your playing style?

Mugeese: Well, I’m a midfielder who can play in numerous positions in that department but I’m more efficient when I play as a defensive midfielder or an offensive midfielder.

Dreams Media: Have you met Manager Akonnor yet and what transpired between you two?

Mugeese: Yes, I have. He told me to train harder and be disciplined if I want to get to the top.

Dreams Media: How eager are you to work under him?

Mugeese: I can’t wait to get started because he’s a living legend and I want to learn more from him.

Dreams Media: Ready to make your Dreams debut?

Mugeese: Yes, I am. I am looking forward to that because I want to showcase to the world what I’m made of. I can’t wait.

Dreams Media: Ready to fight for a place in the team with the likes Emmanuel Lomotey who are all in that department?

Mugeese: I am very ready. I watched Dreams FC once on TV when they played against Wa All Stars. Emmanuel Lomotey is a fantastic player, Hayford too but I will work harder to fight for a place.

Dreams Media: Ready for the Premier League?

Mugeese: Yes, I am. I know the Premier League is very difficult compared to the Division One League but it will all depend on training and effort to keep myself in shape.

Dreams Media: What other profession would you have chosen if football had not come your way?

Mugeese: Nothing. Because, football is what am destined to be playing.

Dreams Media: Any role model you looked up to growing up?

Mugeese: I don’t really have a role model because day in day out I adopted new things from different personalities.

Dreams Media: What are your main targets for this season?

Mugeese: My main target is to cement a position in the team and then try to put in my very best to help the club achieve its target for the campaign.

Dreams Media: Any word to the fans?

Mugeese: They should keep supporting me and expect the best from the team because am here for them.
