Asamoah Gyan has revealed that he will play for local club Asante Kotoko before retires from football.
The Captain of Black Stars in an interview with Accra-based Happy FM stated that he has been a follower of Kotoko but never had the chance to play for them before he left Ghana.
“I will definitely play for Kotoko before hanging my boots. I love the Club. I have always been a Kotoko fun since my childhood days,” he said.
“Even though I didn’t play for them during my time in Ghana I will definitely play for them before going on retirement.”
Gyan is the all-time leading goalscorer of the Ghana national team with 48 goals.
