Tagoe hospitalises Mzonke Fana

Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Tagoe on Friday night put his South African opponent for the IBO lightweight championship belt Mzonke Fana in hospital after the bout. Fana was rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after he collapsed having gone the full 12 rounds with the Ghanaian at the newly constructed Bukom boxing arena. Fana was knocked down twice in the first two rounds. Tagoe emerged victor to become the new IBO lightweight world champion with a unanimous decision from all three judges.

Ghana Mini-Golf begins nationwide registration

The Ghana Mini -Golf Federation (GMF) has officially begun a nationwide registration which is opened to all persons interested in becoming members of the sport. Ghana launched Mini Golf Federation

Ghana is scheduled to host the second African Mini golf summit in 2017, with the first African Championships following in 2018 after the launch of the Mini Golf Federation at Marvels Mini Golf. GGDB enrols golf training at Damang Basic Schools

The Ghana Golf Development Board (GGDB) in collaboration with the Damang Golf Club (DGC) has rolled out an initiative to take golf to the various communities in Damang in the Western region.
