Gambia U-17 female team will arrive in Ghana’s capital Accra for the return encounter against their Ghanaian counterparts in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
The Black Maidens defeated their Gambian sisters 5-1 in the first leg played on Bakau,Gambia.
Abdulai Mukarama scored four goals after Nina Norshie put Ghana ahead just two minutes into the game and on the other hand Fatouma Sowe got the consolation goal for Gambia .
“The Gambians will arrival in the country possibly on Thursday and we are waiting for them in Accra before they can be sent to Cape Coast where the game will be played on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium” Mr .Augustine Asante confirmed to Sunyani based Radio Station Space FM.
Winner of the two-legged tie will face Djibouti in the next stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for a place in the tournament to be staged in Uruguay from 13 November to 1 December 2018.
