Ghana Premier League Matchday 25 Preview; Great Olympics vs Hearts Of Oak.
Redemption time for the “Dade” boys as they meet their nemesis Hearts of Oak. The ever exciting Ghana Premier league gets back into full swing action this weekend after a two weeks break.
The euphoria and excitement will also be whipped up once again as the various teams take to the field to delight soccer loving fans. Eight (8) matches will be honoured across the various league centres spread across the country.
At the Accra Sports stadium, Great Olympics will lock horns with their old foes Hearts of Oak in what promises to be a great encounter. Olympics find themselves in the relegation hot waters and will need all the three maximum points on the day to aid their bid to escape relegation.
Hearts on the other hand needs the points to keep their slim hopes of winning the league alive and that makes the biggest city derby in the country one to pay attention to. Olympics lost to Hearts in the reverse fixture hence they have revenge on their minds.
Coach Tom Strand’s Olympics side has been very inconsistent and must come out of their blocks if they really want a revenge on their rivals. Hearts of Oak have their local Black Stars contingent back in camp and available for selection should Coach Frank Elliott Nuttal decides to use them.
Abel Manomey is out for Olympics as the striker is still recuperating from his injury, but the Phobians do not have any major injury headaches as defender Inusah Musah who scored in the reverse fixture has recovered fully.
The nation’s Wembley will be boiling on Sunday when the two old foes take to the field in a bid to show their supremacy over each other.
You certainly don’t want to miss this match for anything.
