Ghanaian wonderkid Elvis Sakyi announced his presence on his Maltepespor debut by netting a sublime goal for the Turkish Lig 3 side in a friendly win.
The former Galatasaray youth graduate joined Maltepespor this window in a one year loan deal and took to the field in his first official match against Kale Bediyespor in a friendly.
The budding defensive midfielder bossed affairs in the midfield for his side in a game they saw out with ease with a comfortable 3 nil win.
Sakyi capped his man of the match display with a 78minute strike from outside of the opponent’s box which took a wicked deflection before nestling into the top right hand corner.
Sakyi is no new name in the annals of Ghana football after shooting into the limelight in his schooling days at Anglican Senior High School(Super Kass) where his powerful play caught the eyes of onlookers.
