BRIGHTON are set to sign Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena as they search for a first Premier League goal.
Dwamena, 21, has agreed a four-year contract to join the Seagulls from FC Zurich.
The player is now waiting for international clearance before flying to the UK to undergo a medical.
Brighton had an initial £8m bid for Dwamena snubbed.
Reports claimed that the Swiss side were holding out for around £13.7m, but Seagulls now appear to have done a deal.
Chris Hughton‘s side have lost their two opening games to Manchester City and Leicester.
And they are yet to find the net so far, with Hughton hoping that three-cap Dwamena can change that.
He is set to become the Seagulls’ second signing in a matter of days.
