Nuttall urges his side not to get complacent as GPL first round closes

Head Coach of Accra Hearts Of Oak has notified the playing body against complacency as the first round comes to a close.
Although the Scottish tactician insisted that he was happy to have his side had a commanding victory over Liberty Professionals.

At the same time he urged his players to keep adding to their tally and be consistent with the winning ways in the coming weeks going into the second round of GPL fixtures.

“A great game, good we won all three points, we played well and deserved the points,” says Nuttall.

“My boys are focused now and it is important we must avoid being complacent in our remaining matches.”

“They are 15 more matches to go in the second round and we must player better than this, it is still a long way to go.”

Accra Hearts of Oak were in sensational as they handed Liberty Professionals an emphatic 3:0 drubbing in Dansoman.


Thomas Abbey scored twice, while Cosmos Dauda got the other goal for Hearts, but it was Patrick Razak who was one of the main architects of the win, as he was named the Nasco man of the match.


The Phobians are now on a six-match unbeaten run after comfortably dismissing their hosts for their second successive win to consolidate their third place on the table and also close in on Aduana Stars, who drew at Bechem.
